A racing school is an excellent way to lay the foundation of skills that will enable you to quickly reach your ultimate potential. All of the following schools have fantastic programs that will teach you everything from correct "lines", to heel-and-toe technique, proper braking, and overtaking. There is also the added benefit that once you graduate you will immediately qualify for a NASA provisional racing license. This is certainly the the fast track to the fun!

Skip Barber have been training drivers for more than 30 years, and they have a large selection of locations and dates that are sure to suit your needs. You also have the option of taking your classes in either the Formula Barber, or MX-5 Cup racing cars. The MX-5 Cup car has similar performance to the Fun Cup car, and as such it is an ideal training platform.

Qualifying Courses:

• Three Day Racing School (3 days, $3695 - $3995)

Either the 3 or 4 day courses will give you the ability to be safe and fast on the racing track, and both qualify you for your NASA racing license.

Jim Russell is a name synonymous with excellence in race driver training. The courses offered are done in full "wings and slicks" Formula-3 Lolas. If you're really looking to be pushed to your absolute limits in pure race-bred machinery, then this could be the course for you. Previous racing, or other driver training is highly recommended before embarking on this course.

Qualifying Courses:

• Foundation Program - Only if you don't have prior racing experience (1 day, $1595)
• Advanced School of Racing (3 days, $5495)

The Driving Concepts school allows you to cut the costs by using your own car. Alternatively we can organize for you to use the Fun Cup car for your on-track training, which means you can learn in the car that you'll be racing in. The course comes in two parts that are taken separately:

• High Performance Driving School (1 day, $395 - $1000 + car)
• Racing/Competition License School (2 days, $495 + car)

FAASST also gives you the ability to use either your own race-prepared car, or we can provide you a Fun Cup beetle. The main benefits are that you can complete your training in a single day, and they run courses all over the country.
